6th Annual Highland County Special Olympics |
| Due to continued and generous support, the 6th annual Highland County Special Olympics Games will be held on May 17, starting at 10 a.m. on Greenfield McClain's football field. Please join the athletes from Bright Local, Fairfield, Greenfield, Hillsboro, Hills and Dales, and Lynchburg-Clay school districts on this fun-filled, worthwhile day and watch the athletes share their skills and friendships, not only with other Special Olympians, but with family, friends and the community. The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year 'round sports training for children and adults with developmental delays by giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy as they participate in the Special Olympics games. Please help organizers continue providing this special day by offering your support. This may include monetary donations or volunteering to help that day. If you have any questions, or would like to volunteer, please contact your local school district and ask to speak to the special education coordinator.
