Unger's Under New Ownership |
|
Drove into Greenfield yesterday wondering where I could purchase some
wax worms and discovered that Unger's Market & Sporting Goods has
reopened. Upon entering the store I discovered that the Jason Unger has
sold the business and the new owner's name is Kristi Evelsizer.
Kristi grew up on Upper Twin Rd. but in the Paint Valley district. After graduating from OSU she lived for many years in the West before returning home and purchasing the family farm. A week ago she came to town to get a few fishing supplies and ended up owning her own sporting goods store. How's that for impulse? When all the licensing is in order she plans to change the store's name. Before then, however, she will be increasing the stock of all sporting goods, work clothing, soft drinks, beer and picnic supplies along with renewing the Kent Feeds dealership. For all you hunters, fishermen, and other regular liars, she is excited about creating a place in the center of the store for a B.S. bench. Welcome to the neighborhood Kristi. |
