Frontline's Sick Around The World |
|
If you're a fan of PBS and appreciate in-depth studies of important
world issues hopefully you are a regular viewer of Frontline. Last
evening my wife and I watched the program titled Sick Around the World.
The reporter, who is writing a book on various medical systems around
the world, traveled to five major nations and took a look at their
methods of providing public health care comparing them to America's
method. It was extremely informative and thought provoking.
It will probably be rerun sometime during the week and the entire program can be watched online if you have high-speed Internet service. Otherwise, click on the link below and you can read a brief summation of the public health care systems of the nations visited. Possibly this will give us all a little needed information as the presidential candidates ramble on about their vision of health care in America. |
