My great-grandparents James B. and Elizabeth Setty were the
proprietors of this store at the northeast corner of Sixth Street and Pine in
Greenfield during the 1920's. In the late 1920's they sold the store and it was
to become James Clyburn's Thrift "E" Market. This picture was taken by
my grandmother Bertha E. Setty Pensyl in the 1940's. She worked in the store
with her mother and father. The store was demolished and no longer is there. I
also have a picture of the house that stood beside it where the Settys made
there home.
